Shimano RT-CL900 Brake Disc With Magnetic Lock Ring STEPS E-Bike

Super-silent and extremely robust: When developing the RT-CL900 disc rotor, SHIMANO paid even more attention to optimal heat dissipation. The goal: Prevent heat-related deformation for even quieter braking – without compromising on weight, stopping power and stability.

For this purpose, the design of the spider was specially adapted, resulting in a more stable construction overall. The proven ICE TECH FREEZA technology also ensures first-class heat management at the friction ring. The ring’s sandwich construction with an aluminium core between two stainless steel layers effectively dissipates heat via the integrated cooling fins with additional thermal coating – for increased resistance against fading and improved braking performance. You can therefore rely on the reliable braking performance of the RT-CL900 brake disc even on long, steep descents in all conditions.

The SHIMANO brake disc with centrelock magnetic lockring is specially designed for e-bikes with a STEPS drive system for use on the rear wheel with the SHIMANO EW-SS302 speed sensor. For the front wheel, the corresponding RT-CL900 brake rotor without magnet can be used.

Attention:
